No matter what level gardener we are there is always something new and amazing to learn & discover in the horticultural world. It is in this spirit that I created this blog. I have been recently certified as a Landscape Horticulturist and currently work as a professional gardener who, coincidentally, also enjoys gardening as a hobby! I operate this blog in conjunction with my Facebook page, Happy Hedgehog's Gardening Social Group, as an educational tool for both myself and for other (potential) gardening enthusiasts as well. What better way to learn and grow as a gardener than by networking with other like-minded people? Questions/Comments/Advice - they're all welcome! Cheers! Trish Paquette, IP Red Seal Landscape Horticulturist Diploma of Horticulture, Surrey College

A special welcome to new & beginner gardeners!

To forget how to dig the earth and tend the soil is to forget ourselves. ~ Mohandas K. Gandhi

PHOTO CREDITS: I try to use my own photos as much as possible but I do borrow them from time to time via Google Image Search. I try to give credit where/whenever possible but not all photos are easily traced back to their origin. As such, if you happen to see your photo on this blog please let me know and I will be more than happy to give credit where it is due. Please note that all posts on this blog (and corresponding photos) are used for educational/informative purposes only and not for financial gain.
